JIBS is one of four schools within Jönköping University. JIBS offers study programmes and courses in business administration, economics, informatics and law with an international focus. Research at JIBS focuses on entrepreneurship, business renewal and internationalisation. JIBS has some 2 000 registered students, 200 employees and a turnover of approximately SEK 180 million. www.jibs.se.The department of Accounting and Law has strong research in the respective fields of accounting and law. We have a research focus on the international framework needed to promote entrepreneurship and business renewal and encourage working over disciplinary boundaries. The framework of the research profile includes international taxation and international accounting standards, international corporate law and corporate governance as well as international contract law including regulatory techniques.
WORKING TASKS / QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for an Assistant Professor who has the ambition and capability to develop and conduct research (up to 50 per cent) and teaching within international trade and/or international contract law. The teaching will mainly be conducted at Master's level, such as the Master in Commercial and Tax Law.
Applicants should have completed their PhD degree and possess a documented record of scholarship and teaching with focus on international trade and/or international contract law. Fluency in written and spoken English is compulsory and knowledge of or the willingness to learn Swedish is advantageous.
