CERES is a part of Halmstad Embedded and Intelligent Systems Research (EIS) at the School of Information Science, Computer and Electrical Engineering (IDE). The research project will be carried out in collaboration with Quviq and ArcCore companies as well as several internationally renowned research groups.
As an assistant professor you are expected to be active in the research done within the research environments CERES and EIS and that you contribute to the development of the education, both on a basic level and on an advanced level, as well as to give courses within the research education. The teaching load will be about 20% of the time (up to two courses in a year). Furthermore, we expect you to take an active part in the continued development of the research environment and that you will put much effort in applying for research funding from various financiers, both in Sweden and abroad.
Qualification:
The position is intended for someone with a PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
or closely related fields not earlier than 7 years before the time limit for applying. Desirable skills include expertise in formal methods, testing, software engineering, and programming languages. The research track record should demonstrate excellence in research in one of the above-mentioned areas. For the assistant professor position, a track record of teaching or tutoring is required.
