JIBS is recruiting one or two assistant Professors in Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain Management.

We offer you a stimulating workplace where you will be a vital contributor to education activities, research, and service to JIBS. At JIBS we work in an international environment and maintain both national and international networks. Teaching is performed in English and distributed over the academic year.
Besides teaching, the holder of the position must be able to position their present or aspired research orientation within JIBS focus areas. All assistant professors at JIBS are expected to do research, apply for externally funded research grants, as well as be engaged with business and society at large, and to improve JIBS footprint in the broader society.
YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for candidates with experience in education and research in different areas of Supply Chain Management such as industrial marketing, supply management, stakeholder relationship management, sustainability, logistics and operations management. The candidate should have a record of publications, preferably in journals ranked in the ABS list, and/or a promising pipeline.
In the selection process we will place great value on applicants' suitability for the position and JIBS, including administrative skills, flexibility, communication skills and quality awareness. We also see that you value diversity and have the ability to collaborate and build relationships both with students, colleagues, and external stakeholders. The successful applicants will have the opportunity to develop and lead in education and research and contribute to a dynamic academic environment, by being present at JIBS throughout the year.
Fluency in written and spoken English is a prerequisite and it is an advantage if you know any of the Nordic languages.
Furthermore, relevant practical experience and experience from research and/or teaching on the influence of digitalization on supply chain management; IoT, machine learning, Big Data and block chain technology is considered an advantage.
