hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Sodevcon Handelsbolag i Ospecificerad arbetsort Our client, a nonprofit organization and an international church established in 1952 with a global presence in over 120 countries of the world, is urgently looking for an Assistant Pastor to one of her parishes here in Sweden. The church is in over sixteen cities in Sweden, and has branches in all the major cities within the Nordic countries, with English being the official language of communication. The church is community-focused and provide a conducive atmosphere for worship, guidance/ counseling, as well as other community/charity based projects.
Responsibilities:
• To assist the pastor in all areas of his functional work
• Teaching and preaching the undiluted message of the Bible (the gospel of Jesus Christ)
• Offer guidance, counseling, praying for and on behalf of people
• Overseeing/supervising the church affairs, its different departments and working with the board of trustee
• Perform child naming and dedication, water baptism, marriage ceremony, burial and other functions
• Conduct community services, visitations, follow-up and outreaches
• Any other duties as may be appropriately assigned from time to time
The Person should be;
• An honest and genuinely born again christian, baptized in water and the Holy Spirit, and ready to serve God and His people
• Caring individual that is good with people and to people besides having a pleasant personality
• A person with integrity and sufficiently patient, and one who is ready to answer the call of duty even at odd hours
• You should have charisma, be of good character and prudent
• A result-oriented person with an unwavering faith and exhibiting strong leadership skills
• Your command of english should be good i.e. you should be reading, writing and speaking english fluently
• Possession of an additional language(s) and the ability to learn other European languages would be an added advantage
• Should be flexible and willing to travel within Sweden for Church Mission work
• Your oral and written communication skills should be excellent
Qualifications
• Must possess at least a bachelor degree, but masters degree would be preferable.
• Must be a graduate of the School of Disciples (SOD)
• Must be a graduate of any of the worldwide campuses of The Redeemed Christian Bible College (RCBC)
• Must have at least 2-4 years of experience as a pastor or assistant pastor or as an active worker under the supervision of a pastor in The Redeemed Christian Church of God
• Must be able to work independently without supervision
