We are now looking for an Assistant for International Assignments.
Key performance areas
As an Assistant for International Assignments at Sandvik Tooling, you will:
• Coordinate, administer and provide day to day management and service in all aspects of international assignments
• Establish and maintain frequent and effective interaction with local Human Resource Advisors, Line Managers and relocating employees and their families
• Ensure an efficient international assignments process and oversee the development of tools and procedures concerning the set-up of new assignments. This includes how to work with internal requisitions and making the process effective, as well as coordinating external services as needed
• Act as a coach and partner for HR colleagues addressing complex assignment issues
• Execute and analyze data and statistics regarding the expatriate population, including making forecasts
• Communicate and advise in cooperation with local HR Advisor regarding international social security and taxation issues for individuals taking up foreign assignments
The Assistant International Assignments reports directly to the GPO Reward & Recognition - Sandvik Tooling.
Your profile
Successful candidates for this position will have a degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, or a related field and a minimum of three years of managing and working with Human Resources issues, preferably internationally related. Work experience and the ability to interact across different cultures are preferable.
As a person you have a well-developed empathic capacity and can connect service and quality with independence and accuracy. You have a natural ability to work in a service culture with high customer focus and a fast tempo. You must also have strong integrity, be decisive and have the ability to organize and prioritize tasks. You will need a structured working style, with analytical and critical thinking and have a head for numbers; i.e., you are accustomed to working with currencies, taxes, work permits, etc. You also have excellent problem solving skills as well as communication and social skills. Fluently in written and spoken Swedish and English is a requirement and any additional language is an advantage.
