hela Sverige Publiceringsdatum2015-11-10Dina arbetsuppgifterWe are looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to the Group Finane - Property at Fidelity International in Stockholm, Sweden.
Purpose of your role:
The role focuses on the accounting and financial control of the Nordic properties, currently consisting of 7 operating companies and is an exciting opportunity to assist in building a regional finance function from scratch. It will be an extremely varied role which will be responsible for bringing the day-to-day accounting tasks and financial reporting of the property owning companies in house (currently outsourced)..
Your key accountabilities:
• Assisting in bringing the Nordic properties day to day accounting and financial reporting in house.
• Ensuring day-to-day finance tasks are undertaken in an accurate and efficient manner.
• Liaising with the finance team in the UK, external advisors and accounting service providers.
• Keeping up to date with the asset and property managers to ensure transactions are correctly reflected.
• Preparing the data for the month end management accounts process, including journals (accruals, prepayments, and depreciation), reconciliations and analysis.
• Bank postings and preparation of monthly bank reconciliations.
• Preparing recharges/service charges as required.
• Preparing quarterly rent invoices and maintaining debtor's ledgers.
• Control and input on the Nordic property accounting ledgers on Yardi.
• Ensuring a smooth year end process and half year review (where applicable), including assisting in the production of Swedish financial statements and supporting audit files.
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and management reports, as required.
• Assisting in VAT and tax compliance and provision of tax analysis as required.
• Ensuring the needs of key stakeholders are met.
• Ad hoc project work.
Vem är du?
Your skills and experience:
• Good communicator, both written and oral in Swedish and English.
• Able to prioritise, plan and organise effectively to meet tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated, resilient, energetic with strong attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work in a changing environment and to work with teams based in other jurisdictions, namely in the Nordics, UK and Boston.
• Team player, used to working flexibly with colleagues to tight deadlines.
• A professional presence.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting and an academic degree in accounting.
• Knowledge of Swedish GAAP.
• Knowledge of VAT and tax, preferably with experience of completing VAT and tax returns.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills essential.
Desirable skills:
• Property finance knowledge.
• Experience in rent administration (hyresadministration).
• Knowledge of Norwegian and US GAAP.
• Knowledge of Yardi would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of VAT and VAT returns.
• Experience of working in an international company.

About Group Finance - Property
Group Finance consists of Group Controlling, Property Finance, Bermuda Finance and Treasury. The FIL group owns a number of properties in the UK and overseas in Continental Europe and Japan. These combine a mixture of properties occupied by the company for business purposes and property owned for investment and future redevelopment. The Group Finance - Property team consists of six people, reporting to the Group Finance function.
