Trelleborg Engineered Systems is currently looking for an Assistant Controller within Business Unit Industrial Products. The role is to assist the Business Unit Controller in the process of controlling the business unit - a global organization with clearly defined ownership regarding results, business development and processes. The business unit has approximately 2000 employees and a turnover of 300 MEUR. The business unit is a multi-site manufacturing environment. The job is located in Trelleborg.
Main responsibilities and tasks will include:
• Handling tasks related to the control and development of the financial processes within the business unit
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly management reports for the business unit
• Independently handling reporting and control for some local units
• Taking active part in the commercial activities and provide requested analysis
• Participation in the budgeting and forecasting process as well as the strategic planning
• Assisting to secure the internal control environment and ensure alignment with group standards and principles
Candidate profile
We think you, as a preferred candidate, should have a university degree in business or economics and preferably some relevant experience. You have an ambition to pursue a career in business control in a complex industrial environment. You have the ability to work in an international environment and develop an international mindset. You have the ability to work independently in a decentralized organization. The multi cultural environment requires fluency in English and preferably in additional languages. You are proficient in using IT-tools like MS Office.
You are a structured individual with an analytical capacity, ambitious with a powerful self-drive. You are a communicative person who likes to build professional relationships with internal and external parties. You possess the ability to identify and realize process improvements and to collect relevant information for the task at hand. You are flexible with a high level of integrity and a sound judgement.
