hela Sverige Talangjägarna is on behalf of our client seeking an English speaking Assistant Accountant. Our customer that you will work at operates in a very international environment and is in very representative offices in Stockholm.
Duties
• Receives and processes all invoices, expense forms and requests for payments
• Ensures the accurate and appropriate recording / analysis of all financial transactions
• Matches invoices with the relevant contracts and service/purchase orders and ensures the appropriate administration of related financial paperwork
• Prepares Swedish VAT recovery
• Checks and records advances, expenses and reports from regional offices in appropriate currencies
• Ensures that regional office reporting is received on a timely basis
• Deals with daily transactions for petty cash and ensures that reconciliations are completed on a monthly basis
• Acts as back-up for the payroll function by processing the monthly pay run, including travel claims, when required
Your profile
High School Diploma is required. Post-secondary education in accounting or book-keeping is considered an asset. It?s preferable if you have about two years experience in an accounting department, including experience of accounts payable. You understand accounting concepts and practice, and also internal accounting control. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and knowledge and experience of computerized accounts payable systems is required
