Temporary replacement from Mid August 2008 to December 2009
Position title: Assistant Accountant
Position Number : LE-05 / EXT-305793
Closing date: July 18, 2008
Starting Salary: Annual : 285 300 SEK or Monthly : 23 775 SEK
SUMMARY OF DUTIES
In collaboration with the Senior Accountant and under the supervision of the Management and Consular Officer, the incumbent : provides accounting and financial services to the mission; inputs and maintains data in the financial management system (SAP based system); provides financial advice and services to other mission managers and staff; performs on-line banking operations for the mission; carries out regular filing of accounting documents, processes VAT reimbursement for mission accounts and diplomatic staff, liaises with key stakeholder of the mission (Protocol Department, Skatteverket, Försäkringskassan, etc.) and performs other duties as required.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
N.B., failure to meet any of the essential requirements eliminates candidates from further consideration in the competition
• Minimum of Accounting diploma (Gymnasieekonom) or several years of experience to compensate
• 3 years of working experience at similar position(s)
• Fluency in English and Swedish. Some knowledge of French is desirable.
• Experience of working with a Computer-base accounting system

• Experience with an SAP based system
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
• Ability to obtain the required security clearance.
• Ability to perform overtime
