We offer our customers services in three business areas; interim logistics and procurement consultants, recruitment of buyers and logisticians, as well as development of our customers' supply chain operations in terms of strategies, models, methods, processes, structure and competence.
On behalf of our customer we are looking for a Senior Manager Warehouse & Distribution for a 6 months assignment at a company located south of Stockholm. For this assignment we are looking for strong supply chain professional with several years of experience from warehouse operations gained in a leading role. For the right candidate there is a strong possibility of being offered a permanent position after completed assignment.
The role
The scope of this role is to own and manage the operation of the warehouse and the Warehouse & Distribution organization. The warehouse handles the distribution for the Nordic operations that involves receiving, storing of all packed raw materials and finished goods from external suppliers and own production as well as picking and distribution of packed finished goods. As Senior Manager Warehouse & Distribution you act as process owner for the store, stocktaking and internal distribution process. Your responsibility includes the planning of transportation and loading of goods. You are also responsible for managing agreements and external suppliers for the warehouse operations. The role also includes responsibility for and improvement of the Customer Service level for the warehouse operations.
The role is part of the Supply Chain management team and you have full budget and cost responsibility for your organization.

Work actively to reach established key initiatives and goals Manage the daily planning and interface with the transport companiesManage the daily pulse, planning and optimize the operations with the teams and resourcesDevelop the organization and drive productivity improvements Structure and standardize working procedures and processes and drive improvements.Ensure that personnel have the right competence and receives relevant educationManage OTIF, delivery precision and customer complaints KPI's and targets for the picking and distribution processMaintain and improve relationships with internal and external stakeholdersOperational excellence in the warehouse operations leading to high customer service in a cost-efficient way
Experience and competence
The assignment requires university degree or equal knowledge through working experience. At least 10 years of experience working in a supply chain and minimum 5 years in leading role in Warehouse operation is required. We also want you to have knowledge in WMS and Warehouse management methodology as well as insight in warehouse legal requirements. Documented success from driving improvements and efficiency is a must. Experience from working with ERP systems is preferable and you need to be fluent in Swedish and English, written and verbal.
We appreciate good pedagogical skills and a structured and analytical way of handling information and planning the daily work. The role requires excellent communication and cooperation skills and ability to take initiative and make decisions. You are good at promoting teamwork and share experience.
