We are now looking for a leader that will drive the Asset Maintenance Planning function. This is a new key role within the organization that aims to develop effective planning and scheduling processes and techniques to ensure the most effective use of available resources; labor, materials, services, tools & budget. You will in this role have great opportunities to contribute to APM Terminal's future development.

As Asset Maintenance Planning Manager for our Nordic organization, you will work close to equipment managers, inventory manager and the operations department. You will join the Asset maintenance management team and report to the Head of Asset Maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
As Asset Maintenance Planning Manager for the Nordic region you will Lead the planning, scheduling and coordination of all maintenance activities on our large quay cranes, railway gantry cranes, straddle carriers, terminal tractors and all other vehicles and equipment to ensure asset maintenance strategies are executed in an effective manner. In addition to secure the daily delivery, you are responsible for implementing APMT global processes for maintenance planning and scheduling and providing subject matter expertise for all local planning activities, analytics for local Terminal asset maintenance and repair activities.
We are looking for:
You have an academic degree in engineering, industrial economics or equivalent, and you have an extensive experience in managing maintenance planning in a changeable and situational-driven environment.
Furthermore, you are analytical, have good problem-solving skills and knowledge about advanced planning setups. You have previously worked with change management; you can easily see new solutions and you are driven by creating efficient working methods - both within the planning team but also regarding the terminal's asset maintenance management.
You have successful management experience as a coach and a clear leader who delegates and gives your employees great responsibility. You are an excellent communicator and you can present and push through ideas and decisions in a convincing and humble way. You enjoy being in a dynamic and global environment that share best practices with other APM terminals. Being a Nordic role in a global setup, it is an advantage if you have experience in building networks remotely. The role will also require that you travel between the entities. As we belong to a global group, we assume that you have good language skills in both one of the Scandinavian languages and English, both in speech and in writing.
