We are looking for

you, who like to work globally and take part in the development and extension of our operation units processes to meet environmental, safety, quality and cost requirements.

Your job is focused on leading assembly when carrying out investment projects and assignments wihin the Höganäs group and lead or participate in the following launching of them. As a Assembly Manager you are supporting with technical competence to global or local operations and Research & Development.

We are looking for you

with a Master of Science in Mechanical engineering or corrosponding experience. This position require that you have a vast work experience within assembly or maintenace in process industry. Swedish and English, both written and spoken is necessary.

If you also have experience in manufacturing, computer competence and knowlegde in business system, MS software and AutoCAD we belive the job will suit you well. Knowledge about laws and regulations, ATEX directives is nesseary.

About the position

The position is located at Höganäs Sweden AB in Höganäs in Sweden. Global Technology, where you will work, brings together our core competence in process and equipment. The department supports the various facilities in the world from pre-study to project implementation or production startup.

Some of your main tasks will be to coordinate and take nessasary actions to initiate, secure and evaluate the safety of the work environment before, during and after an assemly in one of Höganäs production sites to make sure safety comes first and that zero accidents is uphold. You lead, implement and document daily planning meetings and daily protection rounds. To independently or in group conduct analysis of various technical options, risk analyzes, cost assessments, optimizations and investment calculations is another of your main tasks. In order to build knowledge for future assembly you actively participate in investment projects to optimize and improve the conditions.

Fredrik Windén, Head of Mechanical Engineering at Global Technology, will be your manager in this newly appointed position. You communicate with both global and local employees at Operations and Research & Development as well as with suppliers of equipments and servicese. To travel 20-50 days per year is normal for this position.

The headquarters, where you will be located, is located in beautiful Kullabygden and is next to both the sea and the Kullaberg nature reserve, which gives you the opportunity for having an active free time. Larger cities like Copenhagen, Malmö and Helsingborg, with all that they have to offer, are only a short bus or train ride away.
