For our customer we are looking for an ASP.NET Developer
Job description:
The assignment will require experience in further developing of the functionality as well as upgrading to new infrastructure and technology. It will also require very good skills in the areas below, mentioned competence paragraph are needed. A good social competence is necessary and to be an excellent communicator. Supporting end users is also needed and fluent English is thereby required.
The main tasks in the assignment will be:
• Further develop the application in ASP and later on re-build the entire application in ASP.NET (VB.NET for components)
• Further develop the integration with other internal system
• Change of the architecture in the Extranet part from two-layer to three-layer, using VB.NET components
• Migration of the Oracle database from version 8i to10g
• End user support
Required skills:
• ASP 3.0 and ASP.NET
• HTML, Java Script
• Designing and developing of secure applications in Microsoft environment
• SQL, PL/SQL
• Oracle database, versions 8i and 10g
• VB.NET
• Broad experience regarding performance tuning
• Fluent in English, written as well as oral
