Our Exciting Opportunity
We are now looking for a Developer for digital ASIC block verification.
The goal of the block verification is to verify that the functional requirements are fulfilled before tape-out of the ASIC. Your role will include all development activities such as requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, hardware design, software design, integration, verification, simulations, tools design, measurements, lab and test script preparation, product lifecycle Management support and product documentation.
Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We coordinate in cross- functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and sharing your knowledge with others is part of the daily work.
This role will report into Manager Digital Radio Verification and Validation at Business Area Networks.
You will
Perform the verification planning
Perform the verification specification
Create, adapt and maintain the verification environment
Create the test cases
Use and develop the uVC 's
Use reference models
Constrain random testing
Create the Coverage matrix
Write verification reports
To be successful in the role you have
B.Sc. with +3 years' experience or M.Sc. with +2year experience e.g. in Electronic, Embedded system
Experience in hardware verification in VHDL using OVM/UVM
Experience in System level verification, formal verification
Good programming skills in C and/or C++
Experience in using the System Verilog (SV) tools and UVM methodology
Excellent programming skills in System Verilog
Experience of Software design for an embedded environment
Knowledge of hardware design (VHDL/Verilog)
Good knowledge of verification methodology in general
Experience in WCDMA, GSM and/or LTE systems
People-first mentality and networking
Innovative approach to adapt and constructively respond to change
Delivering results and meeting customer expectations attitude
Sound planning and organization skills
Additional Requirements
Most of the verification uses constrained random methodology but also dedicated test-vectors and assertions are used. A successful candidate is an experienced verification engineer with 5 or more years of IP module verification in System Verilog with the UVM methodology. Good understanding and knowledge about HW designs are also key factors. To have Specman knowledge and experience is a bonus.
Both written and spoken English skills are required. Your personal profile should also include a positive approach, a desire to assist fellow engineers, a structured way of working, attention to details and an ability to communicating with others.
You enjoy working both independently and in a small team and you are passionate about achieving results in a timely manner. As a person you must be focused on the detail and able to work with many different people. The work will be carried out in close cooperation with the block designer.
