JOB DESCRIPTION
To be on the leading edge, Axis needs to evaluate new technologies and functionality in
a structured way before we make use of these in our ASIC:s. In this position you will be responsible for producing information to perform and handle strategic ASIC decision.
You will work together with a team of highly qualified engineers and have the chance to be very involved in the work on a technical level. You will also be leading small qualification projects for ASIC technology and architectural evaluations. The work will include close cooperation with other departments at AXIS to make sure decisions are made with the correct information.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a person with good technical analytic skills and we believe you have
a Master in electronics, computer or similar. You have experience of project planning/requirement analysis and ASIC design, HW/SW partitioning and product development of networking products.
We also believe that you are a person with ability to lead people and are structured and informative. You are easy to work with, and you have good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
THE CHIP PLATFORMS TEAM
The Chip Platforms Team within R&D is designing digital ASIC:s and FPGA:s for our network video surveillance products. The ASIC:s we are designing are large with high demands on SOC designs and the majority is in-house designed. We work with market leading IP:s and technologies. Together with small ASIC geometry and extensive design work we meet the goals of our customers.
