www.fingerprints.com FPC seeks an ASIC production yield engineer to help us developing future fingerprint systems for smartphones and other mobile devices. The sensor design is a mixed-mode design in a standard CMOS process. FPC is a global leader in the development of capacitive fingerprint sensors and designs the entire system, from advanced custom silicon devices and microelectronic packaging, to the algorithms and software for fingerprint including the recognition, and applications on the target devices.
The Role
In this role you will be focusing on developing the production yield of our ASIC products running in production. The scope is a technical role with planning skills where you suppose to drive questions improving our yield. These questions will include knowledge about our designs, production process and tests. This means that the role involves interaction with our wafer and assembly suppliers and well as our development teams, analog and digital design. You need also be able to collaborate with stakeholders within the company regarding the impact on products, costs and savings.
Your background
The role requires a Master of Science in Engineering, with specialization in electronics, physics, computer science or equivalent. More specifically, work experience in ASIC design and production processes are of high value as this role deals with deals with detailed questions on all levels in the designs and production flow. That is design, production process and tests. You can be newly graduated as well as have several of years of experience of fields to apply for the position.
You can communicate fluently in English, written and spoken, and have a possibility to travel if necessary.
Success in this role requires knowledge and experience in one or several areas:
• ASIC design
• ASIC production.
• Electronic test
Preference will be given to those with experience in the following areas. Please highlight in your application the areas in which you have experience/knowledge in your application
• Analog ASIC design
• Digital ASIC design
• Electronic production and process control
• Design for test
• Six Sigma or equivalent
• Project management

It is also required that you are a team player who contributes to an open and positive atmosphere in the workplace.
