MASTER'S DEGREE PROJECT FOR SPRING 2021
In ASIC/FPGA designs the focus has become more towards the testing and verification. As FPGA/ASIC designs have grown over the years, the complexity of testing those designs have grown exponentially. To handle this, verification engineers need a lot of experience in building scalable test infrastructure.
Thesis work:In this thesis you will develop a professional grade UVC (UVM Verification Component) for the AST (Avalon Streaming) bus. UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) is the standardized way of doing verification for FPGA and ASIC. This work will go into great depth on how UVM should be used professionally.
The work will be done at AFRY office in Solna.
Who are you?
The thesis is at master's level, scheduled to be started by Q1-2021. 30p, 1 student.
Preferred knowledge:
SystemVerilog
Object oriented programming, e.g. C++UVM
