We are now looking for an ASIC engineer to join us as a colleague in our Chip Platform IP team. WHAT DO I DO? Your team within Chip Platforms IP, is responsible for development of Axis own developed ASICs with hardware acceleration of essential functions in a surveillance camera. We design, develop, implement and verify the hardware modules that are integrated in a circuit (ASIC), giving us the competitive edge in Axis technology leadership. You would work in team with tasks such as specification, modelling, design and verification. You will be a vital part of the development of the hardware acceleration of image enhancement, advanced analytics, image post processing, video coding and other parts giving our cameras the differentiators for the future. The tasks and roles may differ through the project depending on your interest, project needs and experience, allowing for your personal development as well as the development of your team.
Most likely you would have several personal interfaces that you would cooperate with both internally and outside our team with people responsible for software, algorithms, vendors, electronics, products etc.
MY QUALIFICATIONS? You see yourself as a top talent engineer with a genuine interest in advanced ASIC development.
You are highly motivated and are eager to continuously improve, learn more and to contribute to the team and Axis success.
You either already have experience from the ASIC field or a have Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or similar and are keen to use that as a base in a professional journey working with cutting edge chip development in Axis.
Due to the fact that Axis values teamwork very high, you cannot stress enough to contribute with good spirit and welcome the different agile working methodologies used in our projects.
Your communications skills are on top with fluent English, both written and verbal.
