yDesign AB is a development company that undertakes commisioned development projects of IC devices and related SW for the high end Network Processor market. The development of IC devices is done within our team in Stockholm. This team manages all aspects of development of very large integrated circuits, i.e. architecture, design, verification, layout, technology/IP and component qualification/test.
As an ASIC Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for physical implementation of many different functional blocks in one or several subsystems. This involves managing tools for different steps of an implementation flow, such as RTL synthesis, place&route (P&R), parasitics extraction and static timing analysis. Our tools suite is based on tools from Cadence Design Systems.
The Backend Engineer works independently with fellow backend engineers and designers to reach backend closure of blocks and subsystem.
yDesign offers a challenging environment where architects, designers, verification engineers and backend engineers work closely to meet the customers' requirements with regards to functionality and schedule.
Candidate profile:
• Completed MScEE or equivalent
• Previous experiences in the area of logic synthesis and timing STA is a requirement
• Previous experience in the area of Place & Route is a requirement
• Experience from Cadence tools suite is a benefit
• Previous experience of DRC/LVS and chip tape outs is a benefit
• Located in the Stockholm area or willing to relocate
