Given its ambitious and realistic growth strategy in the Asia Pacific region, Husqvarna Malaysia is currently acquiring key capabilities and is looking for a:

ORGANISATION:
This role reports directly to the EVP, Head of Asia Pacific Business Unit, based in Kuala Lumpur, and in dotted line to the CFO, Group Finance in Stockholm. The new Asia Pacific Business Unit CFO/ Vice-President Business Controlling will actively execute business control of Sales, Marketing and Customer Service in the Asia Pacific region. This includes controlling, planning and implementation of sales, service and marketing activities in order to meet the company targets regarding growth and profitability.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Entering into the role, the new CFO/Vice-President Business Controlling of Asia-Pacific business unit will have a number of key responsibilities, including:

 *       Responsible for timely and accurate preparation of all financial management reporting for the  Business Unit

•        Support the sales operation across Asia-Pacific countries to improve operational performance

•        Perform analysis and follow-up on sales, costs, earnings, working capital cash flow, customer profitability, Price/Mix, KPIs etc. on monthly and ad hoc basis for the total Asia Pacific Business Unit, Markets and Product portfolio and channels

•        Development and enhancement of profitability and trend analysis

•        Perform competitiveness benchmarking

•        Perform and support short and long term planning for the Business Unit as per guidance from Group Finance Department

•        Develop cross-functional cooperation in a multi-cultural environment and get things done by navigating the complexity of a global matrix organization

•        Participate in Group projects related to the financial area, such as reporting, system implementations, transfer pricing etc.

YOUR PROFILE:

•  A university degree in Finance/Accounting, holding a MBA will be highly valued.
•  At least 15 years relevant and broad experience within the financial area of which at least 5 years of experience has been obtained as a Business Controller or Business Unit CFO in an international company within manufacturing and/or FMCG
• Solid experience from the Asia Pacific market is expected for the role
•  Excellent track record of customer focused business control, B2B and B2C.
• Good understanding and experience in dealing with different customer channels, different routes to market, product mix and multiple brands.
•  Influential leadership and strong communication skills, able to coach and support cross-functional teams towards continuous improvement as well as change management initiatives for improving competitiveness and profitability.

•  Excellent level of spoken and written English. Knowledgeable in Chinese and/or Japanese will be considered an advantage
