Europaskolan was established in 1998 and has been an authorized International Baccalaureate® World School since 2007.
Teachers at Europaskolan are given the opportunity to attend international professional development courses offered by the International Baccalaureate®. Upon completion of these courses, teachers are able to apply for teaching jobs at any of the 4000 schools in 140 countries within the IB learning community.
At Europaskolan we have 2 small classes per grade level, which helps us create a safe and close-knit learning community. Our administrators are no exception to this, as they are closely involved with the day to day operations of the school.
We are currently seeking a visual arts teacher for grades 4-9 for the start of fall term 2016. It is a full time position. The language of instruction is English.
Expectations:
As a teacher at Europaskolan, you will be planning and conducting challenging and relevant units of inquiry in accordance with the Swedish National Curriculum as well as the International Baccalaureate®.
You will be planning these units in collaboration with other teachers, both within and outside of your subject group.
You will be exposed to new pedagogical ideas and you will be encouraged to share your ideas with your colleagues on a weekly basis.
