Europaskolan was established in 1998 and has been an authorized International Baccalaureate® World School since 2007.
Teachers at Europaskolan are given the opportunity to attend international professional development courses offered by the International Baccalaureate®. Upon completion of these courses, teachers are able to apply for teaching jobs at any of the 4000 schools in 140 countries within the IB learning community.
At Europaskolan we have 2 small classes per grade level, which helps us create a safe and close-knit learning community. Our administrators are no exception to this, as they are closely involved with the day to day operations of the school.
We are currently seeking a visual arts teacher for grades 4-9 for the start of fall term 2016. It is a 50% position. The language of instruction is English. The other 50% of the position consists of being an After School Care leader for students between Grade 0-3.
Expectations:
As a teacher at Europaskolan, you will be planning and conducting challenging and relevant units of inquiry in accordance with the Swedish National Curriculum as well as the International Baccalaureate®.
As an After School Care leader, you are expected to plan and execute fun but meaningful activities for our ASC programme, and be able to involve yourself with outdoor play with the students.
