Toca Life World is an app that gives kids the opportunity to use their imagination and creativity through open ended play. It's hugely popular, with very dedicated fans, and as the Art Lead in the Toca Life World Content Team you'll be part of making sure it is a continued success.
What you'll be doing
You'll be supporting and leading the five artists of the Toca Life Content team. They are the ones who work on the monthly releases of new content for Toca Life World. You'll drive and facilitate the feedback process, nurturing a collaborative, open and honest feedback environment, making sure we stay true to our quirky and playful art style.
We are all about collaboration here at Toca. When it comes to collaborating with other teams and functions such as Play Designers or Producers, you will be the one representing the Content Team's artist. This might be aligning with other lead artists on cross-team production or art-direction issues.
You'll support the Producer, Tommy, in prioritizing and planning art tasks making sure we can meet production milestones as well as sustaining a healthy, happy team. And as we keep on growing you will be involved in recruiting and onboarding new artists on the team, freelancer and full time employees.
Is this you?
You're an artist with experience leading other artists. You are a facilitator who doesn't mind taking a bit of a back seat and letting the other people shine.
You have experience giving art feedback to align with art direction and meeting production goals.
You have solid Adobe Illustrator skills and a playful portfolio that you are willing to share with us.
What we'll be looking for in portfolio
We'd love to see something playful, our target audience is kids after all.
We'd love to see some colorful illustrations and concepts/ideas, showing the full process of a project and/or assignment.
And of course, we want to see your personal art style!

This position is full time and based in our Stockholm office. We apply 6 months of probationary employment. As we're an international company, with over 10 nationalities and millions of users all over the world, you have to be fluent in English. Your application should therefore be in English
