hela Sverige As an AD in our TV-app team you'll be part of shaping the future of SVT Play on the large screen. Together with the team you'll create, improve and develop a highly appreciated product with over 700.000 users a week.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As an AD you'll maintain one of Sweden's strongest brands and together with the team create outstanding user experiences. You will be an important part of our TV-app team and also work closely together with ADs and UX designers in other SVT Play teams.
YOUR CHALLENGE
SVT Play is available on a number of different platforms that are developed and maintained by several teams where the TV-app team is responsible for all our TV-apps. Today SVT Play is accessible on Apple TV, Android TV and smart TV:s.
As an AD you will: be responsible for the visual design of our TV apps interpret and apply SVT's visual identity lead the design work and drive the design process manage and improve SVT Play's design system together with other ADs and UI/UX designers work in a user-centered manner focusing on user needs and behaviors collaborate with the rest of the TV-app team, as well as with the other SVT teams
THE TEAM AND WORKPLACE
You will join a self-organized cross-functional team of eight with competence in development, UX design, test and product ownership. We work agile in 2-week sprints, often with mob or pair programming and share a great passion for developing our product. We learn from each other and believe that the best solution is a result of collaboration and openness for new ideas! All the teams at SVT Play share the same office space, located at Gärdet in Stockholm.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who will both create the visual design, and take ownership of and lead the team's design process. You have a creative mindset, take own initiatives and are self-managed. You are committed in all phases of the design process, from discovery to delivery.
We are looking for someone that: has great skills and experience in visual design has experience from working with large digital services for a wide market has a great interest in user behavior and interaction design
It would be great if you also: have knowledge about designing for TV-screens have experience in design systems have an eye for accessibility
You're good at communicating and enjoy sharing your knowledge, thoughts and creative ideas with others. Since we constantly develop our ways of working and how we are organized, we also think that you're flexible and open minded. You also have a great interest in and are curious about digital design. You are willing to learn and actively seek how to develop.
SVT INTERAKTIV
SVTi is the interactive department of SVT. We develop all of SVT's public online services - SVT Play, SVT Nyheter, SVT Sport, Barnkanalen and Bolibompa, to name a few. We are approximately 120 people, working in cross functional teams to design and develop SVT's online services, platforms and functions.
