About the role
At Zimpler we believe marketing to be the imaginative application of art and science to create compelling stories to promote our values, brand and products. The work ranges from storytelling, concept development to supporting the everyday business with ad hoc requests connected to visuals.
As Art Director at Zimpler you have a wide knowledge spectrum and master the entire chain from concept and idea to finished product. You are essential to the creative team and the fingertip feeling lies in the design. You are a team player who takes advantage of others' skills and shares your skills and knowledge.
What you'll get to do
Prepare guides, templates and presentations to stakeholders within the team and organization as well as external stakeholders.
Listen to and respond to briefs, question where/if there are gaps.
Create and manage original, persuasive, conceptually compelling work for campaigns, SoMe, content and experiences with some supervision.
You might be a good fit if you
Have 4+ years as a creator, preferably from an agency or in-house.
Have a compelling portfolio of work that demonstrates high quality art direction and design within a variety of campaigns and projects.
Have experience from working with digital design and various digital formats.
Have excellent knowledge of Adobe CC, including Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Are comfortable with Figma and Adobe XD.
Have strong interest in photography and video is a clear plus.
Have great habit of concept development.
You are fearless, boundlessly creative and relentlessly attentive to detail.
Strong information presentation (visual and written) skills.
You have a breadth of cultural reference points.
Furthermore, we believe you to be strong on idea generation, that you are digitally read and updated on the outside world and trends. Lastly, you have a holistic approach and the ability to keep several parallel projects running simultaneously. This position reports to the Head of Creative and is available in either Stockholm or Gothenburg.
