e require a part-time (ca 50%) teacher in arts & crafts (Bild/slöjd) to start in August 2016. This could be combined with another subject to become a 100% position. We are looking for a team player who is dynamic and positive. Candidates must be qualified teachers with an international mindset and a strong command of the English language. We are looking for those who are dedicated, driven and have a passion for children and learning. This is a permanent position with 6 months probation.
Futuraskolan Stockholm offers a bilingual education in grades F - 9 for families who want their children to experience a bilingual curriculum in English and Swedish. We have ca 210 students in preschool to Grade 9. We follow the Swedish curriculum. Futuraskolan Stockholm is a bilingual school, which means that our students' lessons are carried out about 50% English and 50% in Swedish. We also ensure that our teachers working in English and Swedish is its working language as their mother tongue. It is important that students encounter and use both languages ??daily in various everyday situations, not only during class.
In order to achieve the objectives of the Swedish curriculum (LGR 11), we use the IPC, the International Primary Curriculum F - 5 and IMYC, International Middle Years Curriculum for grades 6-9. With the IPC and IMYC, students constantly develop and strengthen both their knowledge and their skills while they widen their world view.
