Area Sales Manager, After Sales, to Components
You will be part of Components in Ludvika. We manufacture products, tap changers and bushings aimed for transformers. We operate on a global market with both ABB and external customers. We are the Technical Lead Center globally for our products and in Ludvika we are in charge of product development and manufacturing. At Components we are approximately 400 coworkers.
Challenge: Are you ready to join our sales team and head for the largest product launch in our history? Components' Market Department is entering an exciting phase where we see great growth potential. As Area Sales Manager you will have responsibility for your own sales region, which partly will be based abroad. You will market and sell our aftermarket portfolio. This includes spare parts, substitute components, courses, analyses and diagnostics. You will also be responsible for warranty issues and complaints within your area. This is a networking role where you will communicate both externally with customers and internally with team members, order personnel and technical staff. With an international sales arena and 30 travelling days per year, you will establish a broad network within ABB, while you simultaneously experience interesting cultures. This is a unique opportunity to enter our organization and contribute to our current and future success. For the right person, we offer a stimulating work climate and excellent development opportunities within ABB.
Requirements: You have a Technical high school diploma, or preferably, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering. Experience from project management, order management, marketing and sales is a strong plus, as is knowledge of the transformer industry. If you have worked with CCP and ERP LN, this is also positive. Fluency in English is a must, both in speech and in writing, while knowledge of other languages is qualifying. To succeed in this role you need not only strong communication and interpersonal skills, but also the ability to adapt and apply these skills across various cultures. On a personal level, you are a customer-oriented and result-focused teamplayer. You understand customers' needs and have the will to develop long-term relations with them.
