Area Sales Manager Nordic

Eberle by Schneider Electric is a leading European brand focused on the manufacturing of energy efficient residential and commercial heating and air-conditioning controls. Eberle has over 80 years of experience and prides itself on reliability, quality, technical excellence and sustainable production with short delivery times. Our current Sales Manager Nordic is moving to another role within the company and we want to find our next sales star/business hunter.

We a searching for a prestigeless person with excellent people skills and strategic thinking that speaks one of the Nordic languages to grow the business for Residential Controls products in Nordic (Norway/Sweden/Finland/Denmark) through:
• providing regional ?push? sales support through increases sales via distribution networks
• ensuring ?pull? into the marketplace through driving business development with decision makers (OEM and System integrators) and establish strong network and relation
• structured business development of HVAC OEM partners

Responsibilities
• Act as primary interface between EBERLE and existing customers (distribution, wholesaler and OEM customer base) to ensure full customer satisfaction. Proactively and professionally handle any issues that may arise.
• Support and contribute to the delivery of the Residential Controls strategy for growth of the Heating Controls business through execution of key business development initiatives.
• Define structured growth strategy for existing customer base and develop cross-selling opportunities.
• Responsibility to maintain full commercial relationship with existing customer
• Provide technical advice and recommendations to customers (installers and channel partners) through site visits, training, demonstrations by visiting customers and prospects for demonstrations. As appropriate, prepare materials to respond to requests for proposals from prospective customers, working with Engineering, Product Management and Technical Sales Support as required.
• Work with channel partners on the development and implementation of promotional initiatives.

Business Development Management
• Identify and develop relationships with key potential customers to establish new business channels and drive sales growth of Heating Controls products. ?Implement? these relationships by putting in place the key elements of the commercial relationship (pricing, terms and conditions etc), working with other functions as appropriate
• Represent EBERLE company and portfolio on national and international exhibition and customer events
• Provide robust sales forecasts and sales performance data.

Desirable competencies
• Education: Bachelor of Commerce, Economics with technical background of HVAC (60% commercial, 40% technical).
• Selling and negotiation skills - how to develop sustainable customer relationships which result in sales.
• Commercial and financial acumen.
• Use of IT systems including email, excel and other software packages.
• Fluent in at least one Nordic language.
• Ability to operate effectively in an English-speaking business environment.
• Driving licence and willingness to travel for business (aprox 80%).
• Knowledge of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) market in Nordic.
• Proven record in key account management and business development.
• Medior level.
