At Berg Propulsion we design, build, sell & service safe, reliable propeller and propulsion solutions for commercial traffic throughout the world. We have production facilities in Sweden & Singapore as well sales companies in Sweden, Singapore, Shanghai, Dubai, Bremen, Istanbul, San Sebastian & Rio de Janeiro. We currently have around 400 employees.
For Bergs Propulsion marketing company in Sweden we are currently looking for:
AREA SALES MANAGER, NEW SALES
Your role:
You will develop and implement the regional sales strategy and execute complementary regional marketing. You will proactively analyse and monitor business activities of the regional to effect your strategy. Your role includes managing all commercial aspects of our customer relationships accurately, profitably and in a positive manner in order to increase sales revenues. You will be supported by internal technical skilled people when needed in your performance.
Your profile:
Ideally you are a self-starter, with strong commercial acumen complemented by an international outlook. With several years of sales experience in a sales and marketing position, preferably in a technical or industrial field, you have a proven track record in sales and are result-oriented. You have very good experience from the shipbuilding industry, propulsion of vessels or other commercial marine activity. You work as part of a team and view yourself as an important element of the organisation as a whole. You would like to work in a smallish company in close proximity to decision-making and where your contribution is absolutely crucial. You have gained experience in strategic planning and execution and welcome the pressure of a highly competitive business. You are willing to travel on a regular basis. In addition to your mother tongue Swedish, you are fluent in English (written and spoken), proficiency in any other languages is a further asset.
