Volvo Penta Region Nordic is now seeking an Area Sales Manager Marine who has the drive and passion to contribute to Volvo Penta Nordics sales and profitability targets and who knows that the key to success is close cooperation with our customers.

Your closest colleagues, 40 highly dedicated employees responsible for sales and aftermarket in the Nordic and Baltic countries, are located in Sweden and Finland. Our responsibility is the Marine segment where we, for the moment, offers gasoline and diesel engines for both leisure and commercial use. We support multiple Marine OEMs (boat builders) and have a large portion of our sales through our network of Volvo Penta Dealers.

Job Description
You will be part of the Marine Sales team and report to the manager for Marine Sales Region Nordic. The position is based in Gothenburg and involves frequent travelling where your main focus will be to deliver extraordinary customer satisfaction generating great sales results. This by initiate and perform activities to maintain and grow sales and market shares with new and existing OEMs (boat builders) and Dealer accounts in the Nordic region. The job may include sales to both to the marine leisure market and the marine commercial market which includes negotiating, contract writing, price setting and managing price files for the region.
But most importantly however; Team play and customer focus. Being a good team player when working closely with application engineers to assure perfect match of our products in customer boats probably comes without saying. Being a great partner to our customers and helping them to be successful do as well. However, we say it any way. Because we are sure. And you should be as well. Who are you?

You recognize the benefits of good cooperation, you have an ability to build long lasting customer relationship and you have a strong drive and an entrepreneurial personality. In addition to this you are comfortable in presenting technical matters for customers and in front of larger groups.
To be successful in your new role we want you have the following knowledge/experience:*University degree in engineering or other relevant field
• A successful track record in sales or account management
• Passion and interest in engines and marine market is an advantage
• Great communication skills in Swedish and English, spoken and written
