hela Sverige You will be part of High Voltage Breakers, a Product Group within the business Power Grids in Ludvika. High Voltage Breakers has a worldwide ABB responsibility for development, production and sales of high voltage breakers for both utilizes and transmission systems. New products are developed and tested in our high voltage laboratory and the markets are found both in Sweden and in other parts of the world. The high voltage breaker is an essential part of a reliable and energy efficient power system. Tasks As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for a market segment with multiple sales accounts and have your designated budget. You are responsible for creating offers and takes both technical and commercial discussions. This requires the ability to work independently as well as to coordinate with other departments when needed. The role requires you to efficiently use various customized software and systems. You will also be responsible for understanding bidding documents, selecting products, determine cost models and preparing sales forecast. As you will be serving as a key technical resource in the assigned area, we expect you to have a good understanding of technology and engineering. Your work tasks will also include continuous improvements within your area of responsibility and occasional business travel.Requirements First and foremost, your personal qualities are vital for success. As Area Sales Manager for High Voltage Breakers it is essential that you are a fast learner and a team player with independent and result oriented working style. You have strong organizational skills in you work and a good understanding for important details. Moreover, you consider yourself to be a flexible and stress tolerant professional who is prepared to do the work needed to provide tenders on time and secure orders. Previous experience from leading and/or participating in small teams is advantageous. As a foundation, you hold a university degree in Engineering or Sales and have a good understanding of technology as well as a general knowledge of our products. You are expected to have multiple years of experience within technical sales, project management or similar. Previous experience within High Voltage Breakers, Substations, power generation, power transmission, HVDC, FACTS, etc., is highly meritorious. As you will be working in a global environment, you are fluent in English, written and spoken alike, whereas knowledge of Swedish and other languages is considered a plus.
