As Area Sales Manager for Separators within Business Unit Liquid Food you will be part of the team responsible for proactively driving sales in co-operation with the clusters. You will be responsible for a cluster where you will be the liaison between the central Business Unit and your cluster counter parts. In close cooperation with the cluster you will be responsible for business planning, sales follow-up, securing forecasting accuracy as well as driving capability development of cluster resources. You will also be part of the order clarification chain between clusters and production centers.
The position is located in Lund. Approximately 50-100 travelling days per year is expected.
Main responsibilities
• Develop and drive regional sustainable and profitable business for Separator sales
• Safeguard fulfilment of Order Intake as well as sales result
• Monthly update and reporting of market situation
• Joint taskforce together with strategic accounts, cluster Key Components Leaders and cluster Product Managers to capture customer demands and requirements
• Clarification of orders between cluster and production centers
Qualifications
To be successful you have a degree in Engineering (Food or Mechanical) or solid experience from the Food and/or Beverage industry. It is a merit if you have Food process and/or Separator product knowledge. Business Development or Sales experience is also highly meriting.
As a person you are result oriented and customer focused with a drive to add value to the team and the business. Furthermore, you are a technically driven person with strong commercial interest. The ability to both understand and convey the customer needs into business opportunities is essential. You possess strong communication skills combined with an open and positive attitude.
A very good command of English, both written and spoken is required. Knowledge in other languages is a bonus.
