Dina arbetsuppgifterThe Area Operations Leader (AOL) is responsible for managing and optimizing resources (personnel, tools, parts, technical support), to continuously improve Site/Area operations in terms of quality, cost and scalability.
Additionally, the candidate will drive EHS performance.
Essential Responsibilities
Resources management of the area/site includes:
• Managing up to 30 direct reports
• Resource planning and dispatching for work orders related to the different service demand streams
• Manage staffing plan for hiring, replacements, and additional labor
• Field Technicians Training Plan and qualification management
• Field Technicians Time cards approver
• Owner of eServices, I.E.: task creation, dispatching, debrief approval
• Facilitate parts availability for operations and maintain inventory
• Tools availability for operations, including tools order and returning
• Cranes coordination as required from cranes coordinators.
Continuous improvement of area operations includes:
• Implement measures to reduce cost and to increase productivity
• Adapt area operations to European Services operations standard
• Technical issues ownership, escalation and follow up through Clarify
• Technical support for commercial offer
• Collaboration with other functions to improve processes.
Responsibility for EHS performance of the area includes:
• Site Safety rules communication
• EHS documentation for operations including customers and suppliers
• EHS equipment provisioning and inspections
• Support EHS site Audits.
AOL is the first customer escalation contact and point of contact for all daily operations, technical questions and support, and for warranty claims.
Utbildning och erfarenhet• Master Craftsman's Diploma / Certified Engineer or professional education in electro-mechanical or electrical engineering sector with strong technical experience with Wind Turbines Services
• Experience in leading a Service Area operationally
• Team Leader experience
• Basic commercial knowledge
• Strong comunication skills
• Familiar with MS-Office, Oracle applications, E-Service
• Structured method of working and analytical abilities
• Willing to abandon bureaucracy and continuously seeking for new ways and improvements
• High degree of flexibility and able to work under time constraints
• Motivated person with can do attitude
• Able to work at heights
• Able to travel inland and abroad
• BG education as "Sicherheitsbeauftragter"
• Native speaker Swedish, fluency in English
• Driving License
• EU work permit
Desired Characteristics:
• Ability to work effectively within all levels of the organization
• Fluency in other European languages
• Engineering or Technical Degree.
