As our Area Manager within Design, you will make a difference for people in their daily lives and at the same time work with creative and driven people. Together, we are putting the end user first when creating new products and solutions.
This is what you will be doing
As an Area Manager, you will be working at our modern headquarters in Lindholmen, Gothenburg, with business both inhouse and direct service. We are one of Sweden's largest companies within design and our customer base is both national and international. Therefore, you will be given the opportunity to work with innovative companies ranging from small startups to global giants.
We work with three design approaches: UX Design, Product design and Technical design. Each one has with a complete set of specialists in its field. All three share the same vision of design as the management issue of the future.
At Semcon, design is part of our DNA and an important part of our offer: product development with a focus on the end user. Here we always put people before technology.
Our design process is triangular, with the user in one corner, technology in the other and business potential at the top. We start from a continuously updated understanding of our world and the end user's everyday life. We support our customers from problem formulation to concept - ready to go and help them take control of their design DNA. Together, we develop products and services for the next industrial shift.

What you know
You probably have an education within design or similar. Your experience is important due to the diversity of the role, which is why we believe that you have worked with industrial business development within project- and service sales before.
Maybe, you are experienced in project business and solution-based deliveries? Or perhaps you have worked within industrial design, CMF or technical design automotive? Most likely, you have a track record as a successful leader within the area of design and sales. You believe in both people and possibilities, which is why we think that you have a relevant business network within Europe.
