Job Description
During the past 2 years, the Production Assurance Unit has grown and matured; our processes and services have evolved. We now find ourselves with new opportunities to develop to the next level and have taken steps to improve how we govern and operate. To further enhance efficiency and effectiveness, we are looking for an Area Manager for our new Area Service Transition & Reliability
The Area Manager will report to the Unit Manager for Production Assurance in Business Tech.
As the Area Manager for Service Transition & Reliability you will be leading the teams responsible for four core service domains:
Change, Release & Delivery Management - Ensures that all changes and releases are well-planned, authorized, and deployed with minimal disruption while maximizing business value.
Critical Incident Management - Leads the swift resolution of high-impact incidents, coordinating both technical and business responses to restore services quickly and effectively.
Problem Management - Drives the elimination of recurring issues by managing root cause analysis, known errors, and the implementation of permanent fixes or effective workarounds.
Operations Insights & Analytics - Uses data and analytics to proactively identify risks, detect trends, and recommend reliability improvements across services.

Responsibilities:
Co-develop and implement the global strategy for Service Transition & Reliability together with the Unit Lead for Production Assurance.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Development Leads, Operations Managers, and Business Partners to enable seamless service transitions.
Act as an escalation point for complex or high-severity incidents and problems.
Use metrics, KPIs, and analytics to identify improvement opportunities and lead service reliability initiatives.
Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ITIL standards.
Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and partners to ensure seamless operations and foster innovations.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who can commit to directional decisions, take ownership of initiatives, and collaborate across the organization. You create trust and dare to lead, manage, and communicate in a timely and clear way.
Moreover, you have...
Master's degree in business management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Deep knowledge of ITIL v4 (Service Transition, Service Operations, Continual Improvement).
Hands-on leadership of Change, Release & Delivery Management
Experience as an escalation lead for major incidents (critical decision-making under pressure).
Strong background in Problem Management (leading and driving fundamental, organisational wide improvements across root cause elimination, not just firefighting).
Demonstrated ability to design governance frameworks and enforce compliance in a large enterprise.
Familiarity with AI/ML-driven operations (AIOps, predictive monitoring, anomaly detection).
Strong experience aligning service management with Agile/DevOps delivery models.
Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated release processes, and continuous testing.
Experience engaging with CIOs, senior business leaders, and executive boards.
Strong influencing skills to gain buy-in for reliability initiatives across business and tech.
Proven ability to negotiate SLAs, drive accountability, and foster innovation with external partners.

Additional Information
This is an onsite role in Stockholm, Sweden and all applicants must be eligible to work from our office location.
