Job description
We are looking for an area manager who is responsible for the development of the retail sales in the middle and north of Sweden. Your main task will be to sell our products to general sporting goods stores and specialty sport stores for running, cycling and fitness.
Main tasks:
• The day to day management of your customer portfolio in line with agreed objectives.
• The new customer development in your geographical territory in line with agreed objectives.
• Ensure that all new product and marketing activity is communicated to your customer portfolio.
• Maintain regular structured contact with retail shops of retail chains in your area.
• Prepare staff training and merchandising schedules to optimize the product knowledge and our presentation in stores.
• Participate in trade shows and grass root events to present, promote and sell our products.
Job requirements:
• You must have retail sales experience, ideally in the sporting goods industry.
• You have excellent communication skills, are positive minded and always look for solutions when you face a challenge.
• To be successful in your job you need to be a team player as well as have ambition to reach your own sales targets.
• Sports is part of your life and experience as active user of Polar products is certainly helpful.
Fluent in Swedish and English
