This person will be responsible for research projects in the area of lipid technology and for management of the Swedish Chocolate Research Centre (SweChoc).
The position involves research projects carried out in collaboration with mainly food and pharmaceutical industries as well as research institutes and universities. The research aims at understanding interactions between different structure determining components and their role for the functionality of colloidal drugs and food systems. Candidates should have a strong scientific background, preferably including surface chemistry, lipid chemistry and food or pharmaceutical technology. Work is performed in close contact with industry and a strong interest in applied research with a fundamental perspective is necessary. Starting salary will depend on experience and qualifications. This position is an opportunity to work with industrially oriented R&D in a scientific environment. The institute is an international workplace with personnel and visiting scientists from abroad.
