Connected Services and Solutions within Sales & Marketing is Scania's newest and fastest growing business area. Connectivity is a prerequisite to enable the growth at Scania that is planned for the coming years, so we are in an exciting and dynamic period. Connected Services and Solutions is responsible to implement and sell services and packaged solutions as well as to leverage the benefits of connectivity within all parts of Scania. You will join the Sales group, commercially responsible for Fleet Management, Driver Services and Ecolution by Scania.
Assignment
In the role as Area Manager you are responsible for sales of the services in our portfolio on primarily European markets. Together with your markets you plan activities for the next coming years to reach your sales targets, ensure profitable growth as well as profitable business for our services, aligned with the corporate strategy. You will build and maintain relationship with our market companies, dealers as well as other departments at Scania head office. For your markets you are responsible to make all stakeholder sales focused and "on-board" the connectivity business and will challenge traditional ways of working. To succeed in this position you will need an entrepreneurial mind-set, an open and persuasive communication, and a commercial and customer oriented focus.
You.

As a background you have an academic degree and are fluent in written and spoken English. Other languages are considered a merit.
The position involves travelling, minimum 2-3 trips per month.
