We see that sustainable people transports will be crucial in this journey. Global trends such as connectivity, autonomous and electrification will change the people transport industry. Today, we see that the bus body and passenger interactions are becoming a major factor in energy consumption. At Bus vehicle functions and services play a huge role in this area.

How do we do that?
By developing and improving functions and services that make it easier for our customers and body builders to be on top of their operations and provide optimal functionality in the bus chassis and bodys. We use the Bode node system to connect to all body systems e.g Climate systems, Door system. By controlling these systems we can adjust the heating in the bus and adapt the consumption of fuel. We are also looking into how we can interact with passengers more and we strive to produce the best bus body system in the market.

Your day to day work
You will work closely with the development team, mainly ensuring they have an suitable amount of prepared work to do. This means planning and prioritizing product features in the backlog and continuously develop the product. You will also research and analyze market needs, the users requests and adapt the roadmap for the product. This also includes following our competitors and the industry.

What we do on a day to day basis directly influences the customer's business, making it very crucial to have our services up and running. Our services are extensively used so you will also work with user support and incident related activities. As a PO you will provide the product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities to different stakeholders. This means working cross-functionally within Scania together with other product owners, business managers and other departments ensuring we build and offer our customers a competitive service. We work with body builders in all over the world which will require some flexibility in working hours.

In addition to all of the above we provide fun and inspiring colleagues, in-house innovation days, relevant education, reduced working hours, and the Scania Job Express bus which will bring you from Stockholm to the front door of our office in Södertälje, just to name a few.

If you have experience from working with transport operations and software development that's a plus, but your go-getter attitude will be what is valued the most.
