WE ARE NOW LOOKING FOR
One of our core products, Software Recognition Service, relies on a team of some 20 people, located at our offices in Stockholm. To keep pace with the rapid development of our portfolio and to continue to deliver benefits to our customers, we are looking for new colleagues to join the software recognition team. WHAT YOU WILL DO
Our Data Detectives investigate data, lots of data.
As a Data Detective or an Data Analyst (as you prefer), you will research the data about installed software provided by our 6,000 customers worldwide. Software recognition is one of our core intellectual property disciplines. It is, however, a broad subject, and so to bring value to our customers, you will work with a variety of tasks.
You may, for example, run a research project, test ideas, or educate other colleagues. You will work together with software publishers, our partners, and our customers across the globe; and of course, everyone at Snow. We believe in mixing tasks to broaden our individual skills, and because it's simply more fun that way! You will work independently as well as in a team, so we are looking for someone who can learn quickly and take initiative when tasks need to be solved.
YOUR BACKGROUND AND KNOWLEDGE
MUST-HAVE
• An IT education and / or a couple of years of work experience in IT
• Solid experience of working with Microsoft Windows
• Good understanding of how applications are installed and how they run
• Can communicate well in both Swedish and English - spoken and written
NICE TO HAVE
• Experience in licensing and different licensing forms
• Experience in software inventory methods
• Experience of Software Asset Management
• Understanding of Unix/Linux
• Knowledge of hardware inventory methods, including mobile devices
• Understanding of SKU numbers
