We are looking for an architect to coordinate the implementation of a SaaS solution within distribution logistics. The position is based in Borås, travel to Stockholm is expected. International travel can be required.
Our customer has procured a SaaS solution from a service vendor. In this assignment you will make sure the SaaS solution will be correctly integrated and implemented to our customers solutions and/or solutions from other third party vendors. Several implementation projects will be run in parallel, targeting different technical platforms (i.e. Warehouse Management Systems and Order Management Systems). You will be accountable for aligning the architectural work in the different implementation projects, and make sure interfaces are set up in line with business requirements and that documentation is done and maintained in a controlled manner
As Architect you will:
• Overall responsible for the solution from an architectural point of view and documenting the architecture
• Take lead in the providing of different solution proposals
• Report architectural deviations and have a plan how/when to move in the right direction
• Understand business needs by working closely together with the requirement group
• Understand the systems' capabilities and functionalities
• Collaborate and Report to Logistic Area IT Architect
• Be responsible for the technical integration solution
• Raise risks and issues
• Be the primary contact for the supplier regarding integration, technical and infrastructure questions
• Act as a counterpart against the supplier for technical audits
• Participate in strategic discussions together with project management, system integrator and the supplier
• Coordinate the architects working in different implementation projects
Your responsibilities
• A responsibility to secure the solutions and contribute to a common architecture within the area. In this role you will work closely with area architects, system architects, System responsible, project managers and requirement analysts within IT and experts within our business concerning architecture related issues.
• Coordinate and steer the architecture work within the implementation projects running in parallel on different platforms within our customer.
• Document and maintain needed IT architectural documentation
• Working closely with our business and the rest of the IT Organization.

• Analyzing trends in technology, system, tools and methods within the area

• Strong leadership
• Experience from Supply chain/Logistics /e-commerce
• Experience from Integrated Enterprise solutions
• Experience from working with external software providers
• Experience from working within a global organization
• Ability to lead a team and drive tasks/workshops
• Good at expressing yourself verbally and in writing in both English and Swedish
