The Digital Buildings Business of Schneider Electric provides Intelligent building management solutions to help customers create a productive and comfortable environment for its occupants, reduce energy consumption and run building operations efficiently. As a critical part of this building ecosystem we also provide solutions for fire detection and monitoring of fire detection systems installations.
The Fire Expert team is part R&D and is developing cloud applications for monitoring, configuring and analyzing fire detection systems throughout the world.
Schneider Electric has a challenging opportunity for a passionate individual to assume the role of Senior SW developer/Architect for our Fire Expert software solution in Lund, Sweden.
In this role you will be responsible for designing and developing software applications. You will ensure best practices are followed while being responsive in a dynamic and iterative Agile development setting.
Wish list of skills and experience
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Experience with Object-oriented designs and Service-oriented architectures and database technologies. SQL and NoSQL
• Experience with API and REST interface development
• Experience with React, C# and .NET
• Experience with User Interface technologies and paradigms
• Experience with Azure and Azure Service Framework
