Job Description
This job will be in our Relay team, a newly formed group at Nets, who will create a next generation distributed payments processing system for Nets eCommerce and Point of Sale. The team consists mainly of payment developers from a variety of backgrounds who are primarily "hands on keyboard" working on Azure cloud and whose primary product is a set of robust RESTful APIs. The team has a digital first approach (even post pandemic), a modern, green field tech stack built on Azure. The goal of the team is to be the central payment processing connector for the entirety of Nets and third party PSPs.

What you will be doing:
Empower and support the contributing development teams and architects to make the right technical decisions.
Not only deliver results today, but also enable the teams building the payment service to keep delivering at a fast pace in the future - as the product evolves and grows.
Face and solve a new task every day, working for the payment service
Constantly improve the quality of the overall solution overall. Define design and implementation with availability, testability and low operational cost while continuously iterating on the development process to support new consumer functionality and business expansion.
Work closely with the product managers and architects on the business and technical roadmaps and on a day-to-day basis
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
A senior architect looking to take on new challenges - mentoring a team helping them to build, deploy and operate world class systems in multiple public clouds while addressing privacy, regulatory and security concerns
Comfortable with strategic planning as well as hands on assistance to drive the business forward
Able to think far in advance for the development of multiple platforms: spotting problems, bottlenecks and being able to thrive in a quick iterative delivery
A mentor for the team, product staff, developers, and a supporter of their work - find the right ratio between designing the solutions yourself and empowering others to make their own decisions
Comfortable being a teacher to the develop teams and an evangelist for Nets/Nexi towards external audiences
You might also have:
A solid knowledge of building world class scalable cloud solutions
Deep knowledge of architectural designs that work well in regulated environments
Deep Payments knowledge
Practical knowledge working with an ecosystem composed of hundreds of microservices with high availability
Deep understanding of the lifecycle of software development
