We are looking for an engaged and driven person to join our Mobile Core team. Telenor is rapidly heading towards the digital future and we are looking for people with a natural proactive drive who wish to make a difference.
What you'll do
As an Architect in Mobile Packet Core, you will be part of a highly skilled team with wide and deep knowledge of all areas within the delivery of Mobile Data Services. You will work with development of our existing Mobile Packet Core for 2G/3G/4G. You will also be deeply involved in designing and building the brand new 5G Core that is a key to unleash the true power of 5G Services.
The team works with everything from strategy, analysis, design, procurement, proof-of-concept setups, troubleshooting and operational tasks. You will be part of an experienced and driven team with expert knowledge and you are expected to be a team player. We are organized in agile teams mainly in Stockholm and Karlskrona. You will work closely with colleagues in the Swedish organization as well as with colleagues in other Telenor units abroad.

We're looking for you who:
* Likes learning and understanding new technology.
* Has good technical knowledge in Mobile Packet Core and Mobile Data Services.
* Has a good understanding of the relevant 3GPP standards.
* Has technical understanding of Network Function virtualization/containerization.
* Has good understanding of IP Networking.
* Is used to working end to end with customer in focus.
* Has a good overview of a mobile network from end to end perspective.
* Good understanding of English is a must, and good understanding of Swedish is an advantage.
* You probably have a relevant University degree and some years of working experience in Telecom.
