Kitab Sawti is Swedish startup based in Stockholm with an office in Cairo. Our goal is to build the Arabic audiobook market and deliver a great moment of entertainment, relaxation and knowledge to our consumers. We are a versatile team moving quickly and we are now looking to expand our team with a dedicated, passionate narrator who loves audiobooks. As the world looks like today equal access to cultural understanding, education and literature is very important. We want to do what we can by enabling books and stories in audio to the Arabic speaking population.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Your job is to record our stories and books in a professional studio with assistance from the audio technician.
You have a passion for the Arabic language, books, and reading. You are a humble person that work efficient and have a sense of patience.
The work is half time, as the voice doesn?t hold for more. The job position requires you to be in Stockholm during the summer and after that it can be done remotely.
Start as soon as possible.
REQUIREMENTS
• Good skills in English, written and spoken
• Excellent skills in Arabic, written and spoken, to the extent that you can read a book in fusha without tashkil
• A university degree
• A great reader and book lover
• Pleasant voice
• Tech friendly
• Be registered at Arbetsförmedlingen with the right to nystartsjobb and/or instegsjobb
DESIRED
• Experience from acting, narrating, radio/TV production or equivalent
