LinkoCare Life Sciences AB is a start-up company manufacturing bioengineered products as well as conducting research and development in the field of bioengineering. LinkoCare manufactures natural-based, high quality, cost effective and safe bioengineered corneal implants and Microlenses to meet the huge demand of the world population suffering from corneal blindness and low vision.

Job description:
As a clinical applied chemist, the primary responsibilities will include:
Investigate the effect of chemicals and drugs and their incorporation into corneal implants for clinical applications.
Communicate with doctors and help them interpret laboratory tests performed on target chemicals, drugs, and corneal implants.
Follow up with doctors involved in clinical research and trials of corneal implants.
Providing logistic and support for development and manufacturing of bioengineered cornea.
Documentation control and management, and active participation in maintaining an efficient Quality Management System.
Working with the rest of the team to help make the manufacturing process more efficient.
Assisting in collecting data or samples for different test purposes and experiments.
Assisting in sterile and non-sterile procedures as well as daily cleaning routines.
Assisting the quality assurance team.
Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment as needed.
As a start-up company, we would need you to roll up your sleeves and help with different tasks as we are a small team, all contributing to our success. The working condition may need you to work outside of working hours or weekends occasionally. We expect you to have a clear communication and ability to work well with the management and other colleagues in English.
Qualifications:
We need an independent and highly motivated individual who wants to work in an exciting and new area. The relevant required education is a bachelor or master's degree in Applied or Clinical Chemistry. It is important that the university degree, or related experience, has not been obtained more than 15 years before the start of this employment. Prior experience and expertise in clinical chemistry and management of clinical trials of bioengineered corneas are great assets.
