Klarna is growing rapidly and one of the most challenging aspects ahead is to leverage data by creating new tools and improving decision making. The growing complexity of our product offering, the different populations using our services and multiple geographies pose a unique challenge in terms of analytics and automation.
Within the Risk division, the Applied Analytics & Automation department is in charge of the development, deployment and maintenance of all of Klarna's automatic decision models, as well as tool development and automation.
Your mission is to extend and design new platforms and tools used internally for risk assessment and processing. You?re here to innovate and drive technology decisions by keeping up on the latest languages/frameworks/tools and incorporate them where they offer big wins. Most of our current set of tools and infrastructure is built on a jQuery/PHP/PostgreSQL stack.
You are an aspiring full-stack developer with a strong passion towards creating systems. You enjoy being in the driver?s seat and getting stuff done, rather than contemplating on what needs to be. We expect you to be reliable, dedicated, and enjoyable to work with. If you have worked on web projects for fun in your spare time or created a small commercial application, we like you even more.
To succeed in this role you will need that inner confidence that allows you to dive headfirst into unknown territory to solve problems and build products way outside your comfort zone. Also, you like to work closely with other analysts and have an interest in modeling and decision making ? even though it?s not your part of you day-to-day.
