We are looking for an enthusiastic Engineer to take their next step as a Team Lead within the applications Engineering team, based in Kista, Sweden. The Applications Engineering Team Leader has three main responsibilities. The first responsibility is to develop the future leaders in his/her team, focusing on customer satisfaction, technical expertise and personal competencies. The second responsibility is to manage the daily support activities, balancing customer support, customer education and personal development activities. The third responsibility is to own and improve processes, focusing on improving the efficiency in the organization. The Applications Engineering Team leader should lead by example by showing technical competency in the National Instruments core product lines and provide quality support to National Instruments mainstream customer base. Please note that this role is 50% team lead and 50% Applications Engineering supporting SRs.
Minimum Requirements: Hold an Engineering Degree or equivalent experience. Has exhibited potential leadership and motivational skills. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and enjoy working with people. Strong project management and problem solving skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must exhibit a proactive/can do attitude. Experience in both Inside Sales and Applications Engineering. Preferred Requirements: One year+ experience selling NI products/services. One year+ experience supporting/teaching NI products/services NI's customers. Located or willing to move to Stockholm, Sweden. Competencies required: Building Trusting Relationships. It is recommended that the candidate has been in the current role for a minimum of 24 months. Exceptions will be considered on a case by case basis.
