We are looking for an Application Technician for an assignment from August to February. This assignment is a full-time resource with placement in Stockholm.
Publiceringsdatum2012-07-06Dina arbetsuppgifterWe are looking for a full-time Application Technician for application operations of the systems within the area of Sales Merchandising. The Sales Merchandising is in an expansive phase due to roll-outs of existing and new systems.
You are a hands-on technical applications expert that can handle technical support (similar to 2nd line), applications support and maintenance of applications within the area of Sales Merchandising.
Job assignment:
• Technical applications expert
• Installation and configuring of applications and systems
• Maintenance and administering of country specific configurations in applications
• Technical support of all interfaces and integrations including contacts with vendors of the adjacent systems.
• Coordination and communication with internal operation- and support organization
• Participate in the roll out activities and the project
Utbildning/erfarenhet
Specific competence:
• Experienced application technician, including applications support (2nd line), trouble-shooting, error analysis, configuration and installation of applications.
• Experience in the area of Windows applications and environment
• General knowledge in systems integration and handling of requirements
• Experience in maintenance of applications in the production environment
• Been working with purchased systems and the integrations of these in an existing environment
• Understanding TCP/IP-based networks
Nice to have:
• Experience in hand-over to Operation and roll-out activities
• Knowledge in web applications, XML and scripting
• Basic knowledge and experience in MS SQL
• Experience in Windows Server 2008, Citrix and VMware.
• Understanding ITIL, Incident and Problem management.
Considered a merit:
• Previous experience in working with Sales Merchandising-systems
• Experience in Windows based scanners
• Experience of management system SOTI and Windows mobile scanner devices
Tools and software:
• Windows Server 2008, MS SQL, Citrix, SharePoint, MSMQ, XML
Other:
• Self-drive

• Ability to communicate well with others
• Deliver in time and with quality
• Ability to co-operate
• Ability to communicate in english (speach and writing)
You are service-minded, with drive and engagement. You are probably well-structured and used to handle many things in parallel. You work independently as well as in group with skills to communicate and associate/work with colleagues. You work well under pressure and stress and deliver according to plan.
