We want to strengthen the Application Production function with an Application Technical Specialist in the area of batch scheduling. Today the function consists of employees working with batch scheduling, deployments, resolving incidents mainly in the Mainframe area. As an AP Technical Specialist you will work with several of our internal and external customers, mainly within a Mainframe environment.
We are mainly looking for an employee who can take on the challenge as a Scheduling Technician, today we mainly use TWS/OPC and CTRL-M. This means that we have control over the batch plan, modifies the plan; participate in upgrades and other changes. In some cases we also prepare the jobs.
You work close with application developers, customers and other roles in the deliveries to plan and implement activities in the customer's technical environment.
Key responsibilities
• Monitor and manage scheduling Mainframe tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve scheduling issues
• Installations of applications
• Documentation of daily work
Required Competences:
• Experience of scheduling tools, preferably TWS / OPC and CTRL-M
• Minimum five years' experience of Mainframe
• Understanding of system development
• Experience of Change management tools
• High capability to document and to administrate
• University degree or similar
• Excellent command of spoken and written Swedish and English
• On call could be a part for this position
